We take privacy and security seriously. In fact, we have built our business on data integrity by creating products and services that stop fraud and aid our customers in verifying consumer identities in online transactions. Our customers use us when you transact business online—like when purchasing a product or opening an account—by sending us user details (name, address, phone number, etc.) to help verify your identity and ensure that your data are not being used fraudulently. If we are not able to verify the information that our customer submits, our customer may flag that transaction for a more in-depth review or may reach out to you for additional information. At Ekata, we believe that strong data processes are critical for consumer trust and growing digital commerce.
We are happy to assist you in exercising our CCPA rights, described below. We will only use the information that you provide to us to exercise these rights. Please note, however, that if you choose to opt-out of the sale of your information, we will no longer be able to assist our customers—the businesses that you transact with online—in validating your identity and fighting fraud.
What is CCPA?
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is intended to enhance privacy rights and consumer protection for residents of California.
These rights include the right to:
- Access: businesses must disclose the categories of personal information collected from consumers, and from where they
- Opt-Out: consumers may stop businesses from selling their data to third parties
- Request Deletion: subject to some exceptions, consumers may request deletion of personal information where the information was collected directly from the consumer
You may exercise your CCPA rights by using the Web form below to submit your request to us. If you want to exercise more than one of your CCPA rights, please submit a separate request for each CCPA right, which will help us handle your requests more effectively.
